(the link will be sent on Thursday)\n\n\n\nYou are welcome to submit advance questions through the registration link.\n\n\n\nAbout Sean Perryman\n\nSean Perryman is the President of the Fairfax County NAACP the youngest President in the branch's 102 year history. He has successfully advocated for policy changes in education and criminal justice and is currently leading the branch as it seeks major police reform.\n\n\n\nOutside of his advocacy with the NAACP\, he works as Director of Social Impact Policy and Counsel at Internet Association (IA). He is responsible for leading IA's policy efforts around artificial intelligence (AI)\, diversity and inclusion\, and sharing economy-related policies at the local\, state\, and federal level.\n\n\n\nPrior to joining IA\, Sean served as Counsel on the House Oversight Committee\, Democratic staff \,where he conducted investigations and advised on technology policy including AI\, cybersecurity\, and privacy issues. Before working on the Oversight Committee\, Sean practiced civil litigation both in Texas and D.C.\n\n\n\nSean regularly writes and speaks about issues related to race\, policy\, and equity.\n\n\n\nSean earned his B.A. from City University of New York- Baruch College. He received his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School.
