The Arc of Northern Virginia is a 55-year old local nonprofit that represents and serves people with ID/DD such as autism\, Down syndrome\, epilepsy\, cerebral palsy\, and rare chromosomal disorders and their families. Their programs\, services\, and advocacy education provide critical support throughout the entire lifespan of an individual\, from diagnosis and early intervention services to aging with a disability.  There are an estimated 34.000 people with ID/DD in Northern VA.
