DESCRIPTION:Important Public Hearings + Town Council Work Sessions \n\n\n\nThe Town is currently in the process of looking at opportunities for Public Parking Facilities along Maple Avenue and Church Street. This past year\, the property owners of a few lots along Mill Street NE (and close to Church Street NE) have approached the Town about purchasing a floor of a proposed new commercial/industrial building for the purpose of public parking. The floor area is big enough to fit approximately 127 parking spaces. The Town is currently reviewing the proposal and evaluating funding mechanisms. There will be a series of important meetings that will be part of the decision making process.\n\nBe Part of the Future Vision and the Solution!   \n\n \n\nInformal Informational Meetings  \n\nWednesdays January 10\, 17 and 24\, Feb 7\n\n5:30 pm - 6:30 pm at Town Hall. \n\nThe meetings will be held by the Department of Planning and Zoning. They will focus on the status of the potential purchase of the commercial floor for public parking spaces in a new development project.
