Greenheart Juice Shop Opens in Vienna March 27!
Greenheart Opening Fourth Location in Vienna, Virginia
Vienna, VA (March 23, 2021) -- Greenheart, an award-winning health and lifestyle company, known for its premium cold-pressed juice and nutrient-dense smoothies, salads and acai bowls is opening a flagship location in Vienna on March 27. This location will debut the brand’s expanded food offering including an entire menu dedicated to Avocado Toast variations, as well as serving fan favorites in the new 2,000 square foot space.
Greenheart will celebrate its grand opening at 208 Dominion Road, NE with a ribbon cutting by Mayor Linda J. Colbert, followed by two days of festivities including ‘buy one get one half off’ all products from 7am-6pm Saturday & 8am-6pm Sunday. “I am so excited for Greenheart to open their business in Vienna. The community has known and loved their products at the Vienna Farmers Market and their temporary stand by the Caboose. Now they will have a prime location off of Church Street that will be perfect for residents, as well as people using the trail to stop and enjoy a delicious drink,” says Mayor Colbert.
Greenheart will be the first eating establishment on Dominion Road, in a heritage listed building that was once the home to Vienna’s original Safeway. The unique building is located right in the heart of Vienna, opposite the town’s famed ‘Red Caboose,’ and within steps of the W&OD Trail that connects DC to Northern Virginia, making it the perfect bike ride pit-stop. Greenheart boasts seating for up to 50 people, with a combination of indoor and outdoor dining. Locals can sit & relax, or grab & go with options to cater every schedule.
Anticipation for this opening has been building in Vienna for 2 years, since Greenheart first started serving the community through free home delivery and weekly participation at the Vienna Farmers Market. Founder Alicia Swanstrom says that this store will be ‘worth the wait.’ “We have such a strong community in Vienna that has grown with us over the past few years. We wanted to bring something really special and unique to this town, and think that we have finally been able to achieve that with this new Greenheart flagship.”
The Vienna location will feature the brand’s entire range of cold-pressed juice and hand-crafted cashew milks, as well as made-to-order smoothies, instagram-worthy acai bowls, plant-based salads and hearty soups. This location will also be the first to debut in-house, award winning chef Robert Micciulla’s all-new menu items, including the East Coast’s best Avocado Toast with five mouthwatering variations. And, for those with a ‘health conscious’ sweet-tooth, there’s the Sweet Potato Waffle - a gluten-free sweet potato waffle topped with coconut whip, fresh berries and edible flowers, dusted with Ceremonial Matcha Powder.
Greenheart differentiates its products by the ingredients they use. All produce is sourced from local Virginia farms within miles of the Sterling, VA production facility, prepared and served the very next day in a bottle of nutrient-dense juice, or on a plate. The menu rotates to adapt to seasonal changes in fruits and vegetables, to ensure customers are always receiving the highest quality. Highlights include MJ, the brand’s best-selling green juice made with celery, cucumber, kale, spinach, parsley, lemon, mint, pineapple, apple and ginger. Each bottle is packed with 5lbs of fresh fruit and vegetables, and has no preservatives, sugar, water or low quality produce.
To celebrate the new store opening, Greenheart will be partnering with other local small businesses who will be joining them over the weekend of March 27 & 28 to bring the Vienna community together. This will also be the first time that Greenheart debuts its new mobile smoothie bar, ‘Sprout,’ a 1948 International Harvester Metro Van that will be the main location for outdoor COVID-safe juice tastings.
Washingtonians and locals in surrounding Virginia suburbs can also get in on the juice hype, as Greenheart has expanded its free home delivery service to over 100 zip codes, including D.C. proper. Plus, stay tuned for a fifth location set to open in Georgetown this summer.
