During National Chiropractic Health Month this October, Dr. Lemuel of Vienna, VA is promoting the importance of joint health and the vital role physical activity plays in keeping joints healthy and pain free. This year’s theme—“Get Vertical”—focuses on getting off the couch or out of the office chair, and standing or moving more each day.
To help people “Get Vertical”, we are sponsoring a 5K Run/Walk in Vienna on the W&OD Trail Sunday, October 20th at 9am benefitting the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP). The WWP serves veterans and service members who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound, co-incident to their military service on or after September 11, 2001 and their families.
I support the WWP because I see this organization as a vital resource to help veterans integrate positively back into their communities.
