Gradual Re-Opening of the Studio
Based on customer feedback
we are happy to offer
seven classes this week
IN THE STUDIO
(noted in RED on the schedule ).
All in-studio classes are livestreamed
on Zoom for clients who join us from
faraway destinations
and those who wish to stay online with us.
We have held two in-studio classes so far
with the windows wide open.
Doing so has offered a fresh breeze
to flow through the studio
and nature's music (mostly birds) to
add a lovely new ambience
to classes in the air conditioned studio.
Pre-Registration and
Cancellation Policy
for INDOOR Studio Classes
In-Studio classes are limited to
six students and the teacher.
To secure your spot in the studio, write to
by 9pm the day before
your desired class.
We will provide an email response that confirms
your spot in the studio
or offers you a ZOOM ID and password
if the class is full.
All in-studio classes will be offered
simultaneously on ZOOM.

If you must cancel your reserved spot
in the studio, kindly let us know
at least 4 hours ahead of time so that
we may offer it to someone else.
Cancellations within 4 hours will result in
a charge for the class.
Stan's Outdoor Strength Classes
continue on Mondays and Thursdays
from 9:30-10:15am
in the shady part of the
Body Grace Parking Lot
(not online - noted in GREEN on the schedule below).
Please bring your own sun screen, water,
hat, towel, energy, and smile.
Regarding the weather, we
enjoy light sprinkles as we sweat,
but we cancel in the event of
thunder, lightning, or rain.
Studio weights are available
and cleaned between classes.

While COVID-19 conditions persist, we are
committed to offering clients about 20 classes
a week online.

Our Three Re-Opening Guiding Principles
We've been busy deep cleaning and preparing
the studio for an incremental re-opening.
Our re-opening plan has four guiding principles.
1) Create an outdoor environment in the studio
We are blessed with 21 windows on our second floor studio.
As we've studied the science and rationale behind
exercising outdoors during the
region's COVID recovery, we've cleaned, repaired,
and/or replaced the screens and windows.
We can now open the windows
and enable a cross breeze of fresh outdoor air
while you practice in the air-conditioned studio.
2) No shared yoga equipment; please wear socks
COVID has changed views about
the use of shared yoga equipment and
being barefoot in shared spaces.
Please kindly bring your own yoga mat,
strap, blanket or beach towel,
and socks or grippy yoga socks to class.
You may remove your socks
when you are on your mat,
but please wear socks while off the mat.
We deep clean our blocks, magic circles, and
hand weights between classes. They are the
only shared equipment we may make
available for now.
We are happy to assign and store
a dedicated studio blanket to students
for their exclusive use between in-studio classes.
We sell new mats and
grippy yoga/pilates socks in the studio.
3) Your Health and the Studio;
Our Masking Policy
If you have a temperature or a cough
on the day of your class,
please stay away from the studio.
Consistent with Virginia guidance on masking,
please enter the stairway and studio
wearing your mask. After you
arrive at your spot on your mat,
you may remove your mask or
wear it throughout your practice.
We now offer a no-touch check-in process and
have socially distanced the shoe seats. Clients
can expect to touch their own mat and equipment
and very little else while in the studio.

We welcome your input on which classes
you would like to attend inside the studio.
Because of uncertain COVID trends,
we aim to hold a few classes a week
in the studio for the time-being.
When the COVID numbers trend
permenently down in our region,
we will re-visit our in-studio options.
We welcome continued dialogue
as Northern Virginia adjusts to Phase II
and prepares for Phase III.

Registering for Online Classes
If you want to attend our online classes,
please send an email to bodygrace@verizon.net
at least 30-90 minutes before your class.
We will send you an email reply with
your ZOOM Meeting ID
15-30 minutes before each class.
Online classes cost the same as in-studio and outdoor classes.
It is an honor to serve you as we enter
our second decade in Vienna.
