As we move through the recovery phase, it is important to consider new business models and revenue opportunities to grow small businesses. One opportunity that small businesses in all industries should consider is how to work with the Commonwealth of Virginia.
During this webinar, join the Town of Vienna Economic Development Office and the Vienna Business Association as we discuss doing business with the Commonwealth with Chris Ley, business services manager, with the Virginia Department of Small Business & Supplier Diversity.
Chris will inform entrepreneurs and business owners about the benefits of working with Virginia's procurement agency and how to position your business to obtain contracts with the state. The discussion will include learning about the application process for SWaM certifcation (Small, Women and Minority-owned businesses) and how to become a registered vendor in the eVA system (Virginia's eProcurement Portal).
