Halloween Parade

2026 Vienna Halloween Parade will take place on Wednesday, October 28, at 7:00 p.m. on Maple Avenue. 
 
The 2026 Vienna Halloween Parade Application deadline Friday, September 18, at 11:59 p.m. The application for the 2026 Halloween Parade is available online. You can access the application link and additional information about this year's parade here. Applications may be submitted the following ways:

If you’ve already applied to participate:  Thanks for applying! You should have received an email confirmation from our webform or Jess confirming receipt of your application. Please allow five business days for the confirmation email. If you don’t hear from us after that please reach out to Jess (contact info below) to confirm receipt of your application.  

  

Other Important Parade Deadlines: 

-Any updates or modifications to your narrative must be submitted by October 9, 2026

-Goodie Bag Donations are accepted Sept. 2- Oct. 9 (more details below) 

  

How are applications considered? Applications will be reviewed and approved based on space availability, entertainment value, variety, adherence to the parade theme, and compliance with parade guidelines. We encourage you to provide detailed descriptions of your parade entry, including how it relates to the theme and contributes to the overall entertainment experience. (The 2026 parade theme is: Haunted History: 250 Years of America) 

  

More info on goodie bag donations: We are seeking donations of 1,000 kid-friendly items for parade goodie bags (flyer with more info attached.) Items are subject to approval. If you are interested in donating, please reply to this email or call me at 703-255-6395.  Donations will be accepted from September 2 through October 9.
