Mary Chapin Carpenter

Beloved singer/songwriter Mary Chapin Carpenter has called the DC area home for nearly 30 years, and her performances at Wolf Trap have become a tradition for audiences. Best known for her hits “Passionate Kisses,” “Down at the Twist and Shout,” “I Feel Lucky,” and “He Thinks He’ll Keep Her,” Carpenter returns to the Filene Center stage for an evening of classic Americana tunes.

Country singer/songwriter Brandy Clark, known for writing the music to Tony-winning musical Shucked, kicks off the performance.
