This presentation provides an overview of workplace rights for employees who are pregnant, postpartum or lactating in the DMV area. The session will cover common accommodations, how to request them, what employers are legally required to do, and steps employees can take if their rights are violated.
Time will be allotted for questions and practical examples to help participants better understand how these protections apply in real world situations.
If you are a worker, advocate, and community member this will provide clear, accessible information about employment rights in the DMV."
