Join Vienna Presbyterian Church On Ash Wednesday – A Time for Renewal and Reflection

As Lent begins, take time to pause, reflect, and seek renewal by joining Vienna Presbyterian Church (VPC) for Ash Wednesday on February 18. We are offering a drive-thru ashes and prayer in the larger (Park St) VPC parking lot between 8:00 – 8:30 am or Noon – 1:00 pm. We will have an evening worship service at 7:00 pm. Whether you attend in person or join us online, this service offers a meaningful opportunity to draw closer to Jesus as we begin the journey toward Easter.

What is Ash Wednesday?

Ash Wednesday is the first day of Lent, a 40-day season of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving leading up to Easter. During the service, we receive ashes on our foreheads as a symbol of our mortality and a reminder to turn our hearts toward God.
