About Our Guest Speaker...
Doug HIll has earned a reputation as one of Washington's most accurate, respected and entertaining weather forecasters. As Chief Meteorologist, he brings over 30 years experience to his daily broadcasts on ABC channel 7 News at 4, 5 and 6:00 p.m.
Doug has been honored with a Washington Emmy Award for broadcast excellence and he has also been awarded the "Seal of Approval" from the American Meteorological Society.
Prior to joining Channel 7, Doug served 16 years as Chief Meteorologist for CBS channel 9. He began his broadcast career in 1978 in Richmond, then moved to Detroit before returning to Washington in 1984.
At the luncheon, Doug will entertain us with stories from the world of weather forecasting. He will also describe how his faith in God has contributed to his ability to weather the turbulent times of life.
