Kids Give Back: Kids Volunteer Day

Kids Volunteer Day gives children the opportunity to spend their day off making a difference in their community. Throughout the day, kids will:

• Complete meaningful volunteer projects that address real community needs
• Meet nonprofit leaders and learn firsthand about the important work they do
• Discover some of the challenges facing families and individuals in our community
• Experience how rewarding—and fun—it can be to volunteer

Projects include:

• Sensory Kits for Empowering InvisAbilites (provides disability awareness education)
• Bookmarks for Comfort Cases
• Decorate tote bags for our Costumes for Kids Fall Volunteer Festival
• Prepare Emergency Kits with Kids Give Back teen board member Juliet Lee
• Prepare Art Supply kits for local children

Registration is limited to 24 children; this camp will be led by two team members from Mosaic Elementary School.
