Health Wellness & Fitness Committee Kick-Off 2024
VBA Health, Wellness and Fitness Committee Presents:
“Healthy, Fit and Well in 2024” Kickoff Luncheon
12:00 p.m. – Vienna Community Center
Come join us for our first full committee gathering on January 4, as we kick-off a year of activities and events for VBA’s Health, Wellness and Fitness Committee, including an update on planning for the 2024 Health & Wellness Expo on April 6 at the Vienna Community Center!
This lunch is specifically for VBA members in the Health, Wellness & Fitness industry.
Lunch is complimentary for one employee of each business in the Health & Wellness field. Additional employees may attend for $15/each.
In addition, we will hear from Lisa Gable, five-time award winning Wall Street Journal and USA Today best-selling author. Ambassador Gable’s recent book, TURNAROUND: How to Change Course When Things are Going South, has won numerous accolades, and focuses on how you or your organization can get “unstuck” to reach full potential.
Lisa’s broad and compelling background and experience also includes leading various health initiatives, including CEO of FARE, the world’s largest funder of food allergy research where she raised $100 million in commitments, and President of the Healthy Weight Commitment Foundation. Lisa will touch on a broad range of topics at the luncheon, including the emergence of AI and health-tech in solving long-standing health challenges.
All luncheon attendees will receive a complimentary copy of Lisa Gables book, TURNAROUND.
Please RSVP right away for our kick-off luncheon!

MORE ON LISA GABLE:
As the Wall Street Journal notes in a review of her latest book, ”Lisa Gable has been called to turnaround failing organizations - businesses, teams, nonprofits, political campaigns, and government projects - and solve seemingly intractable problems. From Silicon Valley to Washington DC, she’s seen it all. Over time, she’s learned the key to course-correct when things go South is applying the discipline of process engineering - carefully reevaluating everything your organization does and how it does it - with diplomacy and humanity, taking care of relationships, and forging strong partnerships.Date and Time
