More about our speakers:
Craig Burns, Real Estate Agent
Craig has proudly called Vienna home since 1987. He is married to Brenda Burns, pastor of the Vienna Assembly of God, and together they’ve raised three children—each a graduate of Madison High School. Craig is also a proud grandfather of eight, with the eldest recently earning a music degree from Christopher Newport University.
With over 40 years of experience in nonprofit and church leadership, Craig transitioned in 2018 to a new chapter in real estate. His decision was shaped by a personal awakening: recognizing the need for more diverse representation in church leadership, particularly among voices beyond white men. He passed church leadership to Brenda and has since dedicated himself to helping individuals and businesses navigate the real estate landscape.
A longtime community advocate, Craig has coached all three of his children in soccer and softball, and served as member, secretary, and president of the Vienna Girls Softball League. His civic engagement also includes serving on the Vienna Conservation and Sustainability Commission, the Windover Heights Review Board, and chairing the Green Committee as a member of the Vienna Business Association board.
Craig’s journey into commercial real estate began by helping a local small business—Metro Scooters—relocate after their original building was sold. Since then, he’s expanded into residential, commercial, and land real estate as part of the highly successful Redux Team under the EXP brokerage, which completes over 500 transactions annually.
Craig brings a service-first mindset to his work. With no early termination fee, clients are never locked in—he believes he must earn your trust every day. His motto reflects his philosophy:
"If serving is beneath you, then leading is beyond you."
Sean Sinclair, Financial Advisor
As your Edward Jones branch team, we have built our business by treating our clients as we would want to be treated, a simple idea that still makes sense in today’s complex marketplace. As your Edward Jones branch team, we believe it’s important to invest our time to understand what you’re working toward before you invest your money. One-size-fits-all may be fine for some investors, but we believe investments should be tailored to your needs and not generically based on guidelines for someone your age or at your stage of life. Before working toward achieving your financial goals, you must first define what’s important to yourself and your family. Does that include putting your children through college, making sure you've saved enough for retirement, leaving something for your heirs or something else? I can help you prioritize your needs and define your goals. We also work closely with your CPA, attorney and other professionals regarding your financial strategy for you and your family so that everyone is on the same page.
I began my Edward Jones career in 1992 as a financial advisor in Vienna, Virginia, opening the firm’s first branch office in Northern Virginia and the DC Metro area. I became a limited partner in 2005.
Prior to establishing an Edward Jones office, I served in the United States Army as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne. I served in the Panama conflict, Operation Just Cause and the Gulf War. I was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal and earned the Senior Parachutist Badge.
A 1988 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, I hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science. In addition, I am a member of American Legion Post 180 and the Vienna Business Association (VBA).
I am an active member of the community and have served on the following boards: Dyer Gunnell Post 180 1st Vice Chairman, Vienna Regional Chamber of Commerce Senior VP, Vienna/Oakton YMCA Board of Directors.
My senior branch office administrator, Chelsea Buoye, has ten years of experience and is dedicated to providing you with the highest level of service possible.
At Edward Jones, we’re focused on you. The firm has thousands of people and advanced technology supporting our office, so we can help you reach your long-term financial goals.
