The Vienna Theatre Company brings you In Living Sound---an evening of theatre fun.
VTC presents an evening of old time radio theatre re-creations: comedy, drama, crime and sci-fi fantasy, live
sound effects, and the occasional funny hat.

Shows are from the series Candy Matson, Buck Rogers, Short Short Story, and My Favorite Husband.

Candy Matson - Yukon 2-8209 - The Black Cat (1950)
Candy is a San Francisco private detective.  She's fiesty, sassy and gets the job done.

Buck Rogers in the 25th Century - The Origin Show (1939)
Buck is the willing guinea pig to test the Dr. Huer's Electro-Hypno-Mentalphone that makes the memories of the subject come through verbally.  What will he reveal to Dr. Huer and Buck's side kick, Wilma?

Short Short Story - Success Story (1940)
Not as humorous as the others, Success Story gave listeners a little insight into the behind-the-scenes world of professional theatre in New York City.  The ending is bittersweet but, "successful."

My Favorite Husband - Spring Cleaning (1950)
This series starred Lucille Ball as Liz.  Liz causes as many problems in George's (her favorite husband) life as Lucy does later for Desi in the classic TV show, I Love Lucy.
