Walk on the Hill - featuring Green Expo and Ayr Hill Garden Club Flower Show
Perhaps the loveliest signal that spring has indeed arrived in Vienna is the annual Walk on the Hill celebration. This year’s 42nd stroll through gardens throughout the Windover Heights Historic District on Sunday, April 24, will include the Ayr Hill Garden Club’s biennial flower show as well as, for the first time, the Green Expo, featuring Solarize Vienna and an in-home energy audit.
The yards and gardens of approximately 50 homes in the Town’s northwest historic district will be open to visitors from 2-5 p.m. April 24.
All activities are free and open to the public – more details about activities are provided below. Parking is available at Green Hedges School, 415 Windover Avenue. Many roads in the historic district will be closed to vehicular traffic beginning at 2 p.m.
