    Part-Time Position

     

    Want to make a positive difference in the community by working alongside fun and energetic team members? The Department of Parks & Recreation is looking for a customer-oriented person interested in being a positive influence in the community. The ideal candidate is available to work afternoons, evenings, and/or weekends and enjoys greeting and assisting people of different ages, backgrounds, and cultures.
     
    This position provides a skilled level variety of administrative and customer service tasks that may include word processing, processing class registrations and transfers, POS, class cancelations, credits and refunds, collecting forms and fees for reservations and rentals; providing program and activity information to customers.
     
    Work is performed under the direction of the Community Center Supervisor, or designee.  Additional guidance and direction are received through established policies and procedures and the department standard operating procedures.


    Work Schedule:
    Hours may vary: Monday - Sunday 10 to 20 hours per week
     
    All new employees must satisfactorily complete a background check. A conditional offer of employment may then be made contingent upon the successful completion of a drug test.
