About Us

Dr. Karolyn Kabir is a Subspecialist and Pediatrician in the DC area, who lives in her hometown of Vienna. She provides virtual and in-home care for the whole family. She received her medical degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine and has been in practice almost 30 years. She specializes in Adolescent Medicine (ages 11-mid 20's), is passionate about treating the "whole patient" and the "whole family," mental health and patient advocacy, physician and patient wellness, preventative care and reducing social disparities that impact access to health care.

Dr. Kabir is skilled at quickly discerning the root cause of a problem and provides personalized care, longer visits, both well and sick care, medical, mental health and integrative care, neurodevelopmental evaluations, mom-baby care (infant feeding issues, breastfeeding support, perinatal mood disorders), parent coaching and advocacy. She provides this care within a patient's home where they are most at ease or within her home office (virtual or in-person), housed in a beautiful natural setting within her hometown. She does not have a time limit on visits and is easily reached 24/7. She is a devoted patient advocate and helps parents and families navigate the complex interdisciplinary care their children often need across the medical, legal and education systems.
