School of Rock

About Us

We are the real School of Rock founded in 1998 in Philadelphia. We teach Guitar, Bass, Drums, Keyboards/Piano & Vocals and offer a fun, innovative environment for learning music. The Performance Program is School of Rock's hallmark music program, where tens of thousands of students enroll each year. It consists of a weekly group rehearsal where kids and teens learn by playing rock music's most iconic songs with a band composed of their peers. Every few months, Performance Program students take the stage and play at local music venues in front of a live audience.

Remote Virtual Music Lessons During Covid-19 - There are a growing number of families being asked to remain in their homes or limit travel. At School of Rock, the health and safety of our students is our top priority. Our online, one-on-one music education program allows students to take music lessons remotely. School of Rock Remote furthers your child’s musical journey in a way that prioritizes well-being through social distancing. Weekly online instruction is conducted by our expert School of Rock instructors in a safe virtual lesson room. Students receive their training using our proprietary education program,

We are very active in the local music community and participate annually in organizing and performing in local music events including Rock and Roll Marathon, Viva Vienna and Vienna Oktoberfest.
